Philip was loved and respected by his relatives - his nephew, Howard Vanstone and Howard's family, Glenys, Terra and Bronwyn; his niece, Julie Vanstone Prentice and Julie's children, Garrison and Ashlyne. Philip inspired all of them and brought joy and laughter to the world. Philip was forgiving and had a positive attitude - "you can do anything."
Loved, respected and missed by Howard, Glenys, Terra, Bronwyn, Julie, Garrison and Ashlyne

My dad, Philip Morris, who resided in Peterborough until his untimely death on September 21st, 2020 was the most kindest father. When we lived in Zephyr, Ontario in the 70's, he was a wonderful neighbour to the community. One of my fondest memories of my dad was when we lived in Zephyr. He dressed up as Santa Claus and delivered toys on his Ski-doo to each home in Zephyr.
I love you, dad.
Your daughter, Liza

I just met Phillip for the first time earlier this year. It was at the gym. What a great guy. Always with the jokes. Good to be around. Sorry to hear about his passing. Very suprised.

Philip was my older brother. He was loving, kind, caring and very respectful of everyone. He was enthusiastic and very encouraging. He was a great pianist, guitarist, artist, cartoonist, poet and songwriter. He loved nature. He wrote three short stories, Napoleon and Sparkie (which I published for him) about a loving relationship between his cat, Napoleon and a squirrel who he named, Sparkie; Second Chances about a very vivid dream that he had; and Another Wish Just Blew Away about attempting to save a baby robin that he found on his front lawn. Phil - you were my shining example. I told him that if I wasn't related to him, I would love to marry him because he was a very loving person. He was physically fit and exercised two hours, 7 days a week at the YMCA in Peterborough where he had many friends. He gave a nickname to each friend. I love you, Phil. My life will not be the same without you. Thank you for being my brother. I have wonderful memories of the two of us.
