Dr. Hampton was a joy to be around. He was such a wonderful Doctor and gave the best care. He took time to listen and you never felt rushed. He is as dearly missed today as when he went to heaven. God Bless Dr. Hampton and his family.

I guess I don't keep up with the news as I should. Only today stumbled on Dr. Hampton's obit.
Once I finished crying, I wanted to compose a little tribute.
I moved to Marco as as young RN in 1987.
Soon, I found myself working with Dr. Hampton at the Urgent Care Center.
Over those months, I grew to learn what a super doctor he was. Quick humor along with being generous and humble only made my shifts with him all the better.
Tomorrow, September 20, we will be missing an angel - he and I loved sharing the same birthdate. The Heavens are going to enjoy the earthy star we lost.

Dr. Hampton was the best doctor ever. He loved his family and was very proud of them. He gave his patients awesome care. He was one of the few doctors that would make follow up calls to make sure you were feeling better. Dr. Hampton did have quick wit and was a joy to spend time with. He will be missed but knowing that he is with his beloved wife Fran and his family in Heaven makes my heart smile. Rest in peace Dr. Hampton.

Although my husband Jerry and I only knew Jim for the last few years in Naples, we found him to be a wonderful and true gentleman. Through his many stories of his medical years, it was easy to see why he was so loved by so many. We will miss our get togethers with him, and all our laughs we would have. They don't make men like him anymore, he was a gem. We will miss you Jim. Rest in peace.

I grew up in Argos in the 70's-80's. The Hampton family was the backbone of the community. Dr was always there for the discounted or FREE physicals for the sports programs. He was more than fair to our family with 6 kids The Hampton's were kind people with Integrity. The older I get the more I realize how much I learned by growing up in Argos.

This was the greatest doctor of all times who took care of an entire town. If you grew up in Argos you know Dr Hampton. Doctors like this do not exist any longer in my opinion. He was kind, caring and just knew what was wrong with you without having to run to 10 different specialists. RIP

I remember him as my doctor when I was very little. He was the only doctor that I remember that made house calls when you were ill. Very nice man and a very good doctor. Rest in Peace, Dr. Hampton. My sincerest sympathy to the entire family.
