I am very sorry to hear that Harold passed on. He was a Giant Rimu in the Rarakau Forest.
He was very highly respected in regard to the constant work that he did.
He will be greatly missed.
Nga mihi Ken McAnergney.

I had the privilege of working closely with Harold in my capacity as an investment adviser for the government. On Tuesday 26th of August, my colleague and I turned up at Rarakau Farm to catch up with Harold. He had asked us to be there at 1.30pm. When we pulled into the carpark, I was looking for Harold to come out of the lodge in his slippers, with his walking stick but he didn't appear. I actually mentioned to my colleague about this because it was unusual as Harold had always been waiting for us on previous visits. Mike and Kelly hurried toward us and told us the news of Harold's passing. I was shocked and I cried. Harold was not just a stakeholder to me, he had become someone I admired. He was a visionary and an astute businessman and I felt that the things I learned from him made me better at the work I do. I am so deeply sorry to his family and close friends and associates. I am deeply sorry I won't get to work with him again. Arohanui
