Derek COBB Obituary

Passed away peacerfully on 2 October 2025, aged 82 years. Loved husband of Betty and father of Joanne. Eldest brother of Diane, Denise, Kay and Keith, and the late Bruce, Norm and Neil. The service will be livestreamed and can be accessed via Derek's profile on the website below. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated. A funeral service for Derek will be held in Cornwall Manor, cnr of Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt, on Thursday 9 October 2025, at 10.00am.

So sad to hear that Derek has passed away and sending my sympathy to Betty and Joanne.I remember when we were your neighbours in Levin Grove in Kelson..many years ago now but can always recall what a gentleman he was with very high standards in all areas.
May he rest in peace.

Sincere sympathy Betty and Joanne. Been a tough few years for you all. Derek was a much-appreciated neighbour 1980-89 setting standards around gardening, house maintenance etc. Good stuff for our 4 sons to learn from! We deeply value the annual chat in following years as we moved around NZ in our work. Rest peacefully friend Derek - we admired you...
