Sheila POPE Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila Pope, who passed away peacefully on Monday, 21 July 2025, surrounded by her family. Sheila was a woman of warmth, elegance, grace, and strength. A devoted wife, loving stepmother and grandmother, and cherished friend, she touched the lives of many with her kindness, gentle humour, and generous spirit. Her presence brought joy, comfort and calm to all who knew her. Her love of nature, thoughtful words, and enduring compassion will be remembered always. She leaves behind her beloved husband, loving family, stepchildren, grandkids, Tess, Dave & the boys and many dear friends whose hearts she filled with love and laughter. A service to celebrate Sheila's life will be held in St John's Anglican Church, 18 Bassett Road, Johnsonville, Wellington, on Friday, 25 July at 1.30pm.

Sheila will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

To Sheila & her loving family, Sending you all deepest & sincere sympathy at what must be a very sad time for you all . I worked with Sheila at the Ministry of Defence in Porirua in the early 1970's.Memories of Sheila as such a lovely person & fellow workmate.May she now rest in eternal peace. Sheila was a lovely, bubbly funny young lady who was remembered by me and friends at Ministry of Defence when we were all young. She added a lot of humour and fun to our team. I will always remember the bright smiles, laughter and warmth she gave. My deepest condolenses to her family. She will always be remembered.
