So sad to hear of Doug's passing, my thoughts are with you Wendy and family.
I will always remember Doug as the true gentleman he was, his sense of humor and his jolly personality. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Doug and he was a great sounding board on many occasions. Doug and I could talk for hours on many subjects especially family and how proud he was of his children and grandchildren and of course his beloved Jake. Thinking of you now walking the hills and farm with Jake. RIP Doug

Joan and I were saddened to learn of the passing of Doug. I worked with Doug at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand from January 1966 to October 1977. Wendy also worked at the Bank for some of this period.
We socialised with Doug and Wendy during this time and became very good friends. Doug and I were also in the Reserve Bank rugby team together.
Once I left the Bank, we maintained our contact with the Froggatts for many years.
Doug, a fierce competitor on the rugby field, was a true gentleman off the field. He was fun, he was funny, and it was a pleasure to have known him.
Our sincere condolences go out to Wendy, Andrew, Nick, and Families.
RIP Doug.

So sorry to hear of Doug´s passing. I´ve known Doug for 75 years having gone to primary and secondary school together, graduated from Victoria University with the same degree in 1972 and played both rugby and cricket with him. Doug was also an usher at our wedding and we attended his wedding to Wendy. For a while our children attended the same school. So the association is a long one which makes farewelling Doug that much more confronting. RIP Doug.
