Iris Christianna Anna FERNANDES

On Thursday, 26th June, 2025. Died peacefully in her sleep, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Hilary. Dearly loved mother of Heather, Neil, JoAnn, Cherryl and the late Paul. Mother-in-law of Mariska, Sascha and Gavin. Much loved grandmother of Oscar, LilaRose, Silas, Alice and Tara. Loved sister and aunt to her D'Souza and Fernandes families. The Fernandes family is grateful for the loving care Iris received from the staff at Aroha Care Centre for the Elderly. Iris's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ss Peter & Paul's Church, Te Awakairangi Parish, 60 Knights Road, Lower Hutt on Thursday, 31st July, 2025, at 12.00pm (noon), thereafter interment at Taita Cemetery. On Wednesday evening at 7:00pm, the Rosary will be recited in the above church.
