It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother, Jackie Hutchings, on 28 August 2025 at Seven Oaks Lodge, Kapiti. Loved mother of Lisa and Mike, mother-in-law to Rita, step mother to Gillian and Joe, cherished grandmother of Christine, Verne, Amy and Alex, and Great Grandmother of Madison and Liam. Adored by her brother Gerry, nephews Nic and Nathan and her sister-in-law Celia. Much loved by her extended family, Sally, Christine and Calvin in Australia and the Hutchings family in Tauranga. Jackie, you will be deeply missed and your strength and courage is an inspiration to us all. Special thanks to the Seven Oaks Lodge staff who ensured she was cared for and wrapped in love at all times. A life celebration will be held at Seven Oaks' Recreation Hall, Hurley Road entrance, at 2.00pm on Saturday 6 September. Please note, limited parking.
