John passed away peacefully at Ernest Rutherford Hospital, Nelson, on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Loved husband of the late Audrey (nee Carson). Loved father of Kerry and Rebecca; grandfather of Isaak, Karina and Isabella, and great-grandfather of Violet. In his 85th year. Special thanks to the staff of Ernest Rutherford Hospital. I remember John and Audrey's kindness and hospitality when they lived in Lower Hutt. They were a quality couple who were both very good with words and I appreciated their writing.
