PARDEE - Stephen J. Francisko, Jr., 85, of Pardee, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021.

Born April 26, 1935 in Pardee, he was the son of the late Stephen J., Sr. and Agnes M. (Kardohely) Francisko.

He wed Mary Lou (Cantolina) Francisko, who preceded him in death.

Surviving is his son, Stephen J. Francisko, III and his wife Alicelyn of Philipsburg; his granddaughter, Corrinna Gunter of Morrisdale; his great-grandchildren, Elias and Spencer; his sisters, Barbara Caldwell and husband Mark of New Millport, Mary Finch of Osceola Mills; and his brother, David Francisko of Pottersdale.

Mr. Francisko was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Morrisdale.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in the 1960s at the end of the Korean War and during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He had worked for King Coal, Karthaus until his retirement in 1999.

There will be no public visitation.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with the Rev. Fr. Robert J. Horgas officiating.

Military honors will be accorded at the graveside by the Osceola Mills Community Honors Guard.

He will be laid to rest at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Morrisdale.
