Vincent Jay Poeta, 34, of Clearfield, died Jan. 7, 2021, in Ferguson Township.
He was born April 5, 1986, in DuBois, the son of Ronald and Catherine (Hepburn) Poeta.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Poeta; his great-nephew Sawyer Steffish; and his aunts, Sandra Poeta and Lois Hipps.
He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Cathy, of LaJose; his maternal grandparents, John and Hazel (Mitchell) Hepburn of Clearfield; his paternal grandmother, Ernestine (Reed) Poeta, of Curwensville; a sister, Linda Dillon (Russ) of Shelocta; brothers, Charles "C.J" Poeta, of LaJose, and Anthony (Brandi) Poeta, of Curwensville; three nieces, three nephews, a great-nephew, and two great-nieces.
Vince was good natured and kind, who had a quick and easy smile, and loved learning new things and having new experiences.
Vince passionately loved his Roman history.
He also loved sharing stories about his adventures traveling across Europe and driving solo across the U.S. to California.
Vince will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and coworkers.
Funeral services will be held privately by the family, with inurnment at LaJose cemetery.
Memorials in Vince's memory may be sent to his mother, Cathy,; the SPCA; or to a
charity of choice.
