Al, I met you only a few times dear man, and am forever grateful that you loved my jams and jellies. Your daughter Trish was watched by me daily as she would come home after first being with Marg and also with you - always without complaint - always with love. Your grand daughter Amber, who calls me Auntie Bev (I am honored) loves you more than many life times and always spoke about you with such love. She is a very wise young woman. Please know Al that we will watch over your daughter and grand daughter, our ears will listen and our hearts will embrace through this very difficult journey ahead. I am honored to have known you for only a short time and also honored that you gave me the gift of your girls.

What can you say about a man like my brother Al? I've never met anyone more generous, strong and compassionate as my big brother. As I told my son Ronnie about his uncle Al, "they just don't make men like Al anymore."

A friendship forged over 26 years. Al, I could never put into words how much you have meant to me. A father figure, brother, mentor and amazing man is just the tip of the iceberg.I feel very blessed to have crossed life's path with you. There will always be a void in my heart.

1988 North Delta Ole Puckers
Al (or Big Al) as my Dad (Gary) would call him was a prince of a man - we have lost another one too soon - however, I am sure he and Marg are walking Jamie up in heaven every day. Al played hockey with my dad for years with the 'Ole Puckers' - a great group of guys. Al left his mark on the community of North Delta with his volunteering, donating time and money. Really nice man who was a gentle giant and good friend to many. My condolences to his family. So sorry for your loss.

Al was a wonderful person and a great friend to my father Michael. My dad knew Al for over thirty years and he will be truly missed by all of our family. I will always remember our last visit with him in the hospital. Just sitting watching two lifelong friends sharing memories and eating ice cream. Rest in peace
