Our families shared Christmas Eve together for many years. Gary always made us laugh with 'The Lion ate Albert' in his English accent. Wonderful memories of a genuine, kind and caring man. We will sadly all miss Gary, may he rest in peace.
Jon, Mavis and all the family.

Gary was a wonderful coach to my daughter Chanell at the Coquitlam Cheetahs Track and Field club. Chanell was 12 years old and eager to try discus and hammer. Gary was so positive and coached her through as she begun her journey and passion in the throws events. Gary would share his stories of travel and reflections on Laurens throwing competitions. We were very saddened to hear of Gary's passing and extend our sincerest condolences to all of you and want you to know that Gary was such a positive influence in our daughters life and we are so grateful for those memories.
