Bill passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Hospice. He will be missed by all his relatives and many friends. He was involved in the amateur radio community and owned Burnaby Radio Communications Ltd. At his request there will be no funeral and he will be interred with his parents, Walter and Ethel Slaughter, in Manitoba.

A shock to learn of Bill's passing. He was always open and friendly. Just a fun loving guy. Sincere in his desire that everyone enjoy the hobby to the fullest. I will miss him. Dan DES

My fond thoughts of Bill go back to the mid-70s when I gave him his amateur exams at the Surrey Monitoring station. He impressed me with his sense of humour and easy manner. He will be missed by

I was shocked to learn of Bill's passing and wanted to offer my heartfelt condolences to his family. Bill was good friend who was alway eager to help fulfill any request In support of our emergency program. Over the years Bill maintained a solid presence as a standout ham radio retailer - you will be missed my friend.
