To the family,
I was a student of Mr.Moffatt 16 or so years ago. He was tough and he had high expectations. He and I did not always get along. Yet he took me aside and introduced me to Shakespeare. When I moved on to high school he told me I had a lot of potential, he said I was bright and no one had ever said that to me and meant it the way he did. Every few years, when things get hard or feel just out of reach I remember that. Robert gave me something few people can offer, confidence and a willingness to explore. I just wanted the family to know that. I wanted someone to know that. I wish I had told him that.
