Craig MCMORRAN Obituary
April 25 1955 – August 13 2015
It is with profound sadness that the family of Craig McMorran announce his sudden passing. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Vicky, son Kenny, daughter Stephanie, brothers Ian (Diane), Scott (Audrey) and many nieces, nephews and all his in-laws and numerous friends. We are all so devastated by our loss. Craig was born in Edmonton, Alberta, then graduated from Bonnie Doon Composite High School. Craig was an accomplished athlete in several sports (with a very competitive personality). His passions were wood working, fishing, golf, fine cars, music, and he was extremely proud of his Scottish heritage. Craig was involved in the construction industry in the province of British Columbia for the past 35 years. Donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated. A celebration of Craig's life will be held at 2 p.m. on August 21, 2015 at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 72 Ave, Surrey, BC.For online condolences please visit

I was shocked to hear of Craig's passing. I have so many fond memories of my brother Jim, Craig and myself and all the great times we enjoyed since we were all kids. My deepest sympathies to all of you.

Dear Vicky,Kenny and Stephanie;
When we learned of Craig's passing our world shuddered. Craig was one of those people that we were proud to call a friend, and anytime he visited he always brought enough smiles and laughter for all. Craig spoke highly of his family, and his chest would swell when speaking of their accomplishments and travels. We were truly blessed to share a short part of his life, and will carry the memories of this wonderful man with honor.
