Marie BOEHM

Marie passed away suddenly at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her mother Maria at a very young age and was raised by her maternal grandparents, Maria and Michael Boehm. Marie is survived by her cousins Rosina Berendt in Germany, Maria Drygala (Reinhold), John Penteker (Judy), Rose Emrich (Michael) and their families, and longtime childhood friend Hilda Schenn. She was a longtime member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Kitchener and the Transylvania Club. Before retirement, Marie was a teacher/librarian in Toronto. A private family funeral service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. For those not able to attend, the service will be live-streamed and a link will be available on Marie's obituary page at www.erbgood.com. Interment at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Kitchener will follow the service.
