1947-2021 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kathy peacefully at Forest Height Long Term Care Home on April 1, 2021. Where she resided for the past 9 years. Beloved wife of 53 years to Jerry Craven. Loving mother of Kerry (Grant), Kelly (Michele), Tamara (Jamie) and Robin (Tony). Loving Nana to 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Daughter to Gerald Doyle (Predeceased) and Doris O'Brien. Dear sister to Patsy (Harold) Nagy, Susan (Phil) Sanderson, and Laurie O'Brien (Ray). Will be missed sadly by many in Nova Scotia. Kathy lived in Kitchener all her life. She enjoyed spending time at the family cottage along with singing, dancing, cooking and reading a good book. One of her passions was taking care of her gardens. We would like to say a BIG thank you to all the staff and doctors that have looked after Kathy all these years. Your kindness and compassion have been greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place by Memory Gardens Funeral Home and a quiet celebration of life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A book of online condolences may be signed at

Hello Jerry
I happened to read this obituary in the record this morning and the last name jumped out at me. First of all my condolences to you and your family!
If my hunch is correct you are the Jerry Craven that worked for Holman Brothers many years ago in the late 60ies.
A welder fitter as I remember?
If you are that person you may not remember me but I thought I give it a shot. If not this person please disregard this message and I do apologize.

I remember Cathy fondly from our time working at Dutch Boy. She was a great co-worker; always with a smile. My sympathies to you all.
