Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Innisfree house. Beloved wife of Ron Huber. Cherished mother of Kevin (Wendy) Huber and Rhonda (Rob) Dorscht. Adored grandmother of Nick (Olivia) Huber, Caroline (Burt) Nessler, Crystal and Kyle Dorscht and Chelsea and Jorja Smith and great-grandmother to Wrenwynn Huber. Dear sister to Janet (Dave) Reinhart-Kennedy, Shirley (Doug) Troupe, Pat (Joe'Ann) Strauss, Joe (Pat) Strauss, Wally (Betty) Strauss, Ray (Sandra) Strauss and Jim (Betty Ann) Strauss. Loving sister-in-law to Randy (Gwen) Huber, Corky McCormick, Kendra "Candy" (Scott) Henrick, Judy Sabourin and Doug (Shirley) Huber. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Agnes Strauss, sister Marlene (Helmut) Sonnenburg, brothers-in-law Ken Huber and Louie Reinhart and sister-in-law Patty McCormick. She will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. We lost an amazing woman after 77 years of a life lived to the fullest. Anyone that got to know her became a part of her family, a dear friend. No ask was too great, and she would help out anyone in need. Her passion for all things crafty was present her whole life, from designing a room and decorating with special pretties or new curtains, working with her husband to create beautiful furniture, and her amazing mitten project that she took such pride in. She loved music, cards and life. Everything could be solved with a tea, beer or a piece of pie. She was the fabric of her cottage community. She represented love, kindness and generosity to all. Her heart was always open and everyone around her felt her love. She will be missed more than words can express. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will take place. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2723 Victoria St. N., Breslau. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Innisfree House will be greatly appreciated. A book of online condolences may be signed at memorycemetery.ca.

Nana Clare was such a positive, generous, kind person, and always went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. I am happy she will finally be reunited with my Grama playing cards together. Thinking of you all, and sending love
