Peacefully at her home in Waterloo. Jean was 94 years old. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Bill Shantz, parents Marjorie (Stumpf) and Steele Mackenzie, and sisters Mary Joan Stearn and Janet Ollerenshaw. Survived by sons Alexander (Gail), Ian (Sheila) and Cameron (Mary). Grandmother of Steele, Ciaran, Keltie, and Jessica. Great Grandmother of Kora Lynn, Kinsley, Logan, and Quin. Jean was an active member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Waterloo and a retired elder for the church.
