At Freeport Hospital, Mildred Faulkner, aged 82, passed peacefully on Sunday night July 18. Daughter of the late Wilfred and Clara (Wagner) Lemp. Predeceased by her beloved husband Freeman, her brothers Hilburt, Eldon and Carl (Lemp) and sisters Verda Lipskie and Erma Nafziger. Will be missed dearly by her brother Alfred Lemp (Mary Sample) and her loving sister Gertrude Kukor. Aunt Mildred/Millie will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Survived by goddaughter Kenda (Jim) Lindsay. Mildred and Freeman were married 40 years and were blessed to have many friends and loving families. She will be missed by her many friends at Pittock Park in Woodstock. Mildred was a longtime employee of J.M. Schneider and member of the Royal Canadian Legion. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Freeport Hospital as well as the staff who provided gracious care at Conestoga Lodge.
Cremation will take place and Mildred will then join her husband Freeman resting at Memory Gardens.
Friends and family will be able to pay their respects at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener, from 12-12:45 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Please note that if you plan to attend, masks are mandatory and you must RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling (519) 749-8467.
