Passed away with his family by his side at St. Mary's Hospital on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Deloris. Loving father of Michael Rittinger (Linda), Susanne Shular (Jim), Douglas Rittinger (Debbie), Patrick Rittinger (Paul), Christine Innis and Tony Rittinger (Lisa). Cherished grandpa of Sean (Amanda), James, Patrick, Meghan (Craig), Malory, Emily (Brad), Alex (Jesse), Zach, Josh, Taylor, Jordan and great-grandfather of Logan, Liam, Wyatt, Dean, Averi, Theo, Guinevere, Harold and Eleanor. Survived by his sister Virginia MacKenzie. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Victoria Rittinger. Murray's family will receive relatives and friends from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Please note that if you plan to attend the visitation, masks are mandatory and you must RSVP your attendance through the funeral home website or by calling (519) 749-8467. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's RC Church, 56 Duke St. W., on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. Private interment at Woodland Cemetery. Memorial donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Mary's Church or St. Mary's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
