Roger Hornsby Carl, Beloved husband to Georgina Ferns Carl (predeceased March 25, 2017). Roger and Georgina were childhood sweethearts married for 63 years. Loving father to Deborah Carl, Heather Speaker (Randy Speaker). Grandfather to Courtney Fraser (Chris Frise), Great grandfather to Bentley. Roger was a district manager of the Kellogg's Co. for over thirty years. He called upon grocery stores up north, Toronto and Kitchener. The staff at Central meats and Hiway Market loved his sense of humour. His daughter Heather, when young, loved to accompany him at Hiway Market to stock shelves and they attended the grocery marketing shows at Bingeman Park. Wood working was a hobby he enjoyed doing with Georgina, they attended a lot of craft shows. When Roger retired from Kellogg's he joined the KW Harmonizers because of his love of music. He sang with them for over 15 years. Roger and Georgina attended a lot of KW Harmonizer conventions. Our father had a love for animals and a great spirit, he will be deeply missed. At the request of Roger, cremation has taken place. A private ceremony will take place in the spring.
