On February 7th, 2021, with her family at her side, Samantha Lynn-Marie Rittenhouse passed away peacefully at the age of 41 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Samantha worked at the University of Waterloo as an Account Coordinator in the Cooperative Education Department. She is survived by her two children, Numa and Nzeya Weva, as well as her mother Janet Metz, her brother Ben Rittenhouse and his wife Paige Monck-Whipp, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Wayne Rittenhouse. Samantha was a beautiful free spirit who lived life to the fullest, touched many lives in her time on earth, and is gone too soon. She will be remembered for her friendly and loving nature, her bright, beautiful smile, and her boundless love for her children. There will not be a service at this time, and a celebration of life will be held in the future. Memorial donations may be made to: or Grand River Hospital
