Gerald "Bud" Brautigam

Passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at the Village of Winston Park at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Anita (2002) and the late Edith Reichert (2021). Loving father of Susan (Paul) Longpre, Lori (Chris) Nelson and Jim Brautigam. Cherished Grandpa of Kevin and Kyle Longpre, Brad and Chris Vasey, Amber Nelson, and Candice and Amanda Brautigam. Great-Grandpa of Jordan, Finley, Henry, Georgia, Sage, and Arya. Dear brother of Shirley Moss. Bud enjoyed a long, successful career of 41 years with Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro. He was also a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and recently a member of Historic St. Paul's Lutheran Church. A lover of sports, he was an avid baseball player in his youth, and enjoyed tennis in his retirement years. He was a kind and very generous man. Bud's family will receive relatives and friends from 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Memorial service will follow in the chapel at 12:30 p.m. followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery.
