Francine Noreau Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of this kind and generous lady. Francine was an artist of renown who shared her love of landscape painting with countless students. She was a passionate traveller, who truly embodied "joie de vivre", infecting those around her with it. Predeceased by her partner of many years, Edmond Lemieux, she leaves behind to mourn her loss: brother, André; sister-in-law, Pierrette; niece, Sophie; nephews, Sebastien and Jean-Olivier; as well as a group of close friends including her dear friend and travelling companion, Alan Scott. We ask that you consider making a donation to the BC Cancer Foundation in her honour.

I received the news that my close cousin Francine just passed away.
I'm still processing this. As kids, we used to spend our summers at our grandfather's summer house near Québec city. We studied painting together and she later pursued her passion. I felt a lost when she moved out West but she always remained in my heart. My deepest condolences to my cousin André, her brother, and his family, and to all of her closed friends.
Rest in Peace my dear cousin.
