Clarice (Sis) Siprelle Aug. 28, 1920 - Feb. 12, 2018 vacaville Clarice Siprelle (better known as "Sis", passed away peacefully on Feb. 12, with her family around her. Sis was born on Aug. 28, 1920 in Grass Valley. She was the youngest child of Joseph and Tillie Lawrence, and the sister of Joe and Ralph Lawrence, all now deceased. When Sis was three months old, the Lawrence family moved to Sutter Creek, where her mother was from. Sis stayed in Sutter Creek until she met the love of her life, Keith Siprelle. Keith and Sis were married in Carson City, NV on Jan. 17, 1942. They moved to Vacaville in 1946, where they both went to work for the Fairfield Air Station, which became Travis Air Force Base. Sis worked for many years at the Civilian Personnel Office at Travis. Keith passed away in 1994. A very friendly and civic-minded person, Sis was active in many community organizations: Native Daughters of the Golden West, Eagles, Moose, Elks, Rainbow Girls, Vacaville Senior Center, Brownie/Girl Scouts of America, NARFE, and the Saturday Club. She was also a longtime member of the Church of the Epiphany. She loved to be around people and always offered a helping hand. Sis leaves behind a large family who will miss her and continue to be inspired by her. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Robert) Flores, and Sandra (James) Lanz; five grandchildren, AnnMarie (Matt) Nielson, Marianne (Bryan) Goetze, Keith (Kristine) Flores, Christine (Paul) King, and Darin Lanz; 13 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Chad, Sierra, James, Nicholas, Dalton, Austin, Brett, Macy, Kylie, Jake, Cole, Corrine, and one more on the way; three great-great grandchildren, Chase, Lauralai, and Gabriella, and three more on the way. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 26, at the Church of the Epiphany, 300 West St., Vacaville. Interment at the Vacaville Elmira Cemetery will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Clarice Siprelle's name to the Church of the Epiphany. Arrangements under the care of Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 707-425-4697.
