Evelyn Pfister Obituary
Evelyn A. Pfister, 94 a longtime resident of Towamencin Township, died on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Lutheran Community of Telford where she was a resident. She was the wife of the late George H. Pfister, Jr. Born July 19, 1923 in Kulpsville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Anna (Schlegel) Fritz. Evelyn had worked at Green Tweed, Nyce Ball Bearing and Sparks. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, crocheting, cooking and baking. She is survived by her children, Judith Taylor (David), Nancy Harris, Karen Pfister, Anita Rodgers (Joseph), George Pfister, III, Kenneth Pfister (Dana) and Merrill Pfister (Suzanne), nine grandchildren, Donna, Lori, Jonathan, Janet, Katia, Oksana, Natalie, Matthew and Zachary, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother, C. Harold Fritz and a granddaughter Katharine. A viewing for Evelyn will be held on Thursday, February 15, from 6-8 PM and again on Friday, February 16, from 10-10:45AM at the William-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where a funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday. Interment will be in Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Capital Campaign 2211 Mainland Road, Harleysville, PA 19438 or Lutheran Community at Telford, Benevolent Fund, 12 Lutheran Home Drive, Telford, PA 18969.
