Dear Patricia,
Karen, Graham and I wish to extend our most sincere condolences to the family of the late Winnie Childs. Your mother lived across from us from 1966 until 1972 on Fourth Avenue East along with her faithful dog. Winnie Childs was a true neighbor and friend to our family during this period. We will miss her. Rest in Peace Mrs. Childs.

I will always treasure my many times with WinniePoo... such a spirit,such humor, such elan... she looked life in the eye and lived it to the Max...poking fun and wisdom to us along the way. She was very very special, and will be remembered by many. So with a wink and a giggle, I send her to have cocktails with her sisters!

The Whitney Institute Family extends its sincerest condolences to the loved ones of Ms. Childs - our oldest student. We were literally just looking at a picture of her posing with some of our students at our Seniors' Tea. Ms. Childs lived a long and blessed life - what a legacy! Family - you are in our prayers.
