It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Carol-Ann Lavette Bailey Vernon (nee O'Mara). A celebration of the life of Mrs. CAROL-ANN LAVETTE BAILEY VERNON nee O'Mara, wife of Dwayne Vernon and beloved daughter of Roland Ervin O'Mara Sr. and the late Carolyn Bernice Burgher nee Thomas, loving devoted mother to Jerome and Jahkai Bailey in her 56th year of 16 Ballast Point Road, St. David's DD02, loving sister to Roland O'Mara Jr., Gladwina and Arianna O'Mara of Jamaica, aunt to Kavone Hodsoll O'Mara, Jathniel O'mara, great nephew Noah Hodsoll O'Mara. A Family Graveside Funeral Service and Interment will take place at the Pembroke Parish Cemetery, 127 St. John's Road, Pembroke Today, 10th May, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Families please stay in household bubbles and distance accordingly.Also surviving are grandmother: Genesta O'Mara; uncles: Eugene "Rainbow" Thomas, Llewellyn "Lou Scott' Thomas of the USA, Malcolm O'Mara (May), Wendell O'Mara of the USA, Winton O'Mara of USA; aunts: Marionette Jones (Larry) of the USA, Deborah Thomas-Gilkes (Tony), Carlena O'Mara, Jennifer O'Mara, Angie Thomas, Valerie Tucker, Sharon Ward, great-uncles, great-aunts, godchildren, numerous relatives and friends locally and overseas and the Happy Valley Child Care Centre Staff. Predeceased by grandmother Winifred Y. Bean, grandfather Ernest Thomas, uncles Calvin O'Mara, Kallan Thomas and Ernest Cann and aunt Juanita Brangman.The funeral service can be seen on TNN Bermuda News As It Happens Facebook Page.There will be no viewing.
