A Celebration of Life Service for EDWARD KERMOTT WELLINGTON (MUSSEY) CANN, loving husband of the late Dotja Noreen Cann, son of the late Norman (Mussey) and Edith Cann (nee Saunders); and beloved father of Kathy Cann Burgess (Maxwell) and Carla Cann in his 87th year of White Hill Lane, Sandys, will be held at Allen Temple AME Church, Somerset on Wednesday June 9th, 2021 at 3.00pm. Interment will follow at St James Cemetery. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, 50 people are allowed inside the Church for the service.The family will be present to receive friends at the Pearman Funeral Home on Tuesday evening June 8th 2021 from 7.30pm â€" 9.00pm. Also due to Covid 19 restrictions, 50 people are allowed inside at a time to view.The funeral service can be seen on TNN Facebook Bermuda News as It Happens.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bermuda Diabetes Association, Bank of Butterfield account # 20006060842320100.Attendees at the viewing and service are asked to please wear masks and adhere to physical distancing guidelines.Lovingly remembered by grand-daughter Kim Burgess-Samuels (Jahi); great-grandchildren Jahkari and Jahkairo Samuels; sister-in-laws Gilda Cann, Dorothea Simmons, Patricia Simons, Marilyn Philip, Jacqueline Cann; nieces Marguerite Fields (Mark), BettyAnn Townsell, Tanya Cann-Catlyn, LaVerne Cann, Joanne Philott, LaVerne Philpott-Boland (Robert), Jeananne Smith, Anthia Bean, Lucinda Phinn, Sheryll Kelly, Lynette Wilson (Trescot), Dawnette Simons, Patrice Simons, Donna Riley-Carter (Leon); nephews Gregory Cann, Pilot Rudolph Cann, (Kimberly), Raymond Philpott, Sherwin Jones, Ernell Simmons and numerous great nieces and great nephews; special cousins Albert Cann, Louise Bridgeman (Vendal), Myra Smith, Oriel Fraser (Harcourt), Lois Smith (Edward), Annette Barclay (William), Charlotte 'Molly' Simons, Rhonda Furbert (Michael), Eugene Simmons (Medea), Randolph Simmons (CarolAnn); caregiver Sharon 'Ducey' Lee Burrows; special friends Patricia Smith, Pearl Bailey, Roselle Nigg, June Durham and Edward 'Damper' Eve and other numerous relatives and friends.
