Marilyn MacLean
January 11, 2020
Marilyn was a long time family friend...a friendship that spanned many decades and I know both of our parents (Burton and Kathleen Griffith) thought the world of her. Being the youngest in our family, I don't have as many memories probably, but the few times I did have the pleasure of being in Marilyn's company, I was struck most by her beautiful smile and her soft-spoken, gentle and caring manner. I always felt that she was the true definition of a lady....one of the many wonderful traits that are carried on in her daughter Diane.
I do think I may have been named after her... and this is an honour for me because she truly was a very special person as well as a talented artist. One who touched so many lives and led such a full long life herself.
Thinking of you all at this time. I know her light will always shine on in your hearts and all the wonderful memories you have will be cherished.
With sincere condolences,
Marilyn (Griffith) MacLean
