The family of Adele Turek joined this week in sadness and remembrance marking a year since Adele's tragic passing. Her sister Mary expresses our thoughts in this poem. Along with her loving husband Ed, we cherish her memory each and every day. Remembering Adele It's been a year, a long sad year, Since my sister passed away. It's hard to accept the void it's left, Not hearing her voice each day. I miss her warmth, her splendid smile, Her eyes so sparkling blue. I miss her laughter, the stories she told, They made us laugh with her too. Her joy in family was her life, Her goodness shone to all she met. She shared her hopes as well as tears, Her selflessness we won't forget. How I wish she was here to share each day, As she had done with us all before. The love she gave lives in our hearts, As a gift we hold for ever more.
