July 17, 1980 - May 31, 2021.

Our golden girl has left her pain behind to spread her wings and fly into the arms of angels.
Loving wife to Andrew Davidson of Ridgeway ON, beautiful daughter to Gary and Audrey Knox of Hamilton. Champion to her brother Michael and sister in law Kalpana of Toronto. Dearly loved goddaughter to Pat and Robert Watson of Fonthill. Dear and longtime friend to Natasha Coric of Hamilton and Mark Costea of Welland.
Cherished daughter-in-law of Deborah and Robert Harasty, sister-in-law of Jody (Joe) Czaja and Lauren Harasty. Much loved by Nanna and Poppa Dunn. Lovely aunt to many nieces and nephews in Ontario and New York.
A graduate of Mohawk College and Oklahoma Horseshoeing School, Callie leaves behind many friends from the Niagara Casinos and from her and Andrew's very successful Knox Davidson Farrier business. As well, she will be fondly remembered by friends and family throughout Canada, Scotland, USA, Iceland and especially by the Sutherland, Rose, Wall and Sirrs families.

"Once upon a time, when you were a little girl, I was visiting a children's bookstore when I came across a tiny paperback. It was called 'Little Miss Sunshine' and when I saw it I knew it was perfect for you. You were a sweet, golden-haired, rosy-cheeked child, happy and cheery and kind.
Over the years I watched you grow up to be a beautiful young woman, still golden-haired and
rosy-cheeked and kind but now equally thoughtful and determined! You faced the ups and downs that life dealt you and ended up in a good place with a new career, a home, a supportive husband and loving four-legged companions.
And then life threw the ultimate curveball at you and everything changed in an instant. You have struggled through the most challenging and difficult situation anyone could possibly imagine, for years. You have faced pain and fear on a daily basis with courage and determination.
And now, with that same courage and determination, you have decided that the end of your journey has arrived.
I have always believed that the only things that are truly just ours are our own lives. I will always admire and remember the way that you have chosen to live yours.
Little Miss Sunshine, you will be forever in my heart,
With all my love, Auntie Pat"

I worked with Callie for a few years while she was at the casinos. I'll always remember her for her kindness and warm heart. She had an uncanny way of putting people at ease and was very much a professional at her job in security. To know that she worked with horses came as no surprise for you could tell from her gentle demeanor that she would be a natural with animals. My deepest condolences to her husband Andrew and to all her family and friends....Jill-Anne Pyke

Dear Audrey & Gary
So very sorry to hear of your daughter Callie’s passing. Jan Bard contacted me , as we remain in touch.I would have seen you both May 2020 , at our HP reunion remembering many anecdotes of our school years. But globally we’ve all been decimated by the pandemic.
Condolences to you both , a small note to say , thinking of you.

Andrew, my heart goes out to you and I truly know how you feel. I wish I could lessen your pain and sadness, but time will help you cope a bit better everyday. She will forever and ever be in your heart. Memories that only you have that are special from the love and friendship you and your wife had together. For now, take care of you. Cry when you must, and know in your heart her love will last a lifetime.

I first met Callie when I taught her Law at Westmount. She was a sweet and gentle soul then.....and that carried on as she grew into a beautiful woman....inside and out. She left a mark in my heart.
My love and sympathy go out to Audrey, Gary, Michael and the entire Knox family.
