Colleen Keizer Obituary

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Colleen Keizer in her 75th year on Tuesday November 9th 2021 at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in Dunnville. Loving wife of John Keizer for 55 years. Beloved mother of Michelle Templeton (Craig) and Anita Keizer. Cherished Grandma of Stephen and Michael Templeton. Precious daughter of Pat and the late Laurence Berryman. Dear niece of Marion Bird. Colleen will also be missed by her cousins, in-laws and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved son John and her aunt, Lenore Bird as well as her clan of Berryman aunts and uncles.
Colleen was born in Hamilton, Ontario and resided in Winslow for almost 70 years. She was a dedicated employee of West Lincoln Township as a librarian for over 30 years. Colleen was a passionate reader and instilled her fondness for a good book with all her family and friends. Colleen also had great affection for her pets over the years, none more so than for her dearly loved dog Tobey, whom she recently lost after 17 years of companionship.
In keeping with Colleen's wishes a small gathering with her close family will take place at a later date. Her family asks that you curl up with your favourite book, sip a strong cup of tea and give your pet a hug in celebration of Colleen's life. If so desired, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would also be appreciated. Whenever we see a daisy we will think of you.
"We love you Mum".

I'm going to miss our phone calls! I'll miss our long conversations over a cup of tea or two but most of all I'm going to miss "you!" ♥

Colleen was the best cousin a girl could have. We had many good times together. My heart goes out to hubby, John, daughters Michelle and Anita and their families.
