It is with a broken heart that we announce the sudden Passing of our beloved father. Peacefully and quietly at the Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington ON on March 4 2021 in his 95th year. Ed was born on Oct 9 1926 at St Martha's hospital in Antigonish Nova Scotia . He enjoyed a successful career as a welder and then Industrial estimator. He devoted his entire life to his family not only the one he created, but the one he was born into. Beloved husband of the late Donalda Marie Mac Donald. Cherished father of the late John Mac Donald (Mary Llewellyn) . He will be sadly missed by his 4 daughters Tansley Hartwell, Joanne Mac Donald , Carol Ramsbottom and Marie Mac Donald. Also survived by his sons in law Richard Cwynar, Doug Ramsbottom and Ed Leung. Cherished grandfather of Crystal Ransome, known as Papa to Derek McCrone, Molly Bozarth, Tara McCrone, Laurenne Cwynar, Sarah Cwynar, Fiona Leung and Erin Leung. Cherished great-grandfather of Kaitlin Ransome and Scarlett McCrone. Private memorial service will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home.
