Patrick Oliver FARRELLY

FARRELLY, Patrick (Paddy) Oliver July 11, 1935 - October 24, 2018 After a courageous fight with a year-long illness, he was surrounded by his loving family. Paddy is survived by his devoted wife Angela. Dearest father of Julie (Paul), Kevin (Laura), Colin, Wendy (Mike) and Lori Fulsom. Beloved Grandad of Erica (Saman), Taylor, Kyra, Maya, Connor, Dylan, Abigail, and Jake. He will be missed by family in Canada, England, Ireland, and Australia. He was a devoted athlete all of his life, with the highlight of competing in the 1976 Olympics in Montreal for race walking. Paddy was dedicated to continuous learning, becoming a talented painter and accordion player later in life. He worked at Dofasco as a nurse practitioner for 30 years, and enjoyed going to work each day. A private family service has already taken place.
