DAVIDSON, Reta (nee: Shaw) It was with sadness that we announce the passing of Reta Davidson in her 99th year on Monday March 8. Reta is predeceased by her husband Jack, her son John "Jack", son-in-law Patrick, and her beloved grandchildren Jerry and Shelly. She will be dearly missed by her children Carol, Ernest (Janice), Ross (Vicki), five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren as well as many friends and extended family including nieces Jane and Valerie. Reta was raised by her parents Jack and Vera in Hamilton with two brothers and two sisters. She enjoyed 30 years living in Waterdown before moving to Burlington. Reta loved travelling the world as well as painting, reading and sewing. She liked all dogs but especially her schnauzers. Reta spent her final years at Cumberland Lodge nursing home in B.C. where she made many friends and enjoyed visits from her family that lived close by and those from Victoria. Everyone who knew Reta loved her and have special memories of happy times spent with her.
