He is survived by his children Carole (Sean), Barry (Claudia), Mike(Bonnie), and Larry. Beloved Papa to Conor (April), Corey, Avery, Sherri, Rick, Mike, Stephan, Nicholas, Natasha, Renee, Kelly, Shelley, Shawn and his great-grandchildren Nora, Ella and Jake. He will be sadly missed by his sister Carole(Sonny) and brother Terry. Walter was a true friend to all that knew him and was always there to help, fix or build anything. He was truly a jack of all trades and he was a master of many. His true love was carpentry whereby he created many lasting memories for his friends and family. He will always be missed but never forgotten. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

So sorry Carole, Sean and family for your loss. My mom, Pauline Croucher, asked me to send her condolences to you all. She has many very fond memories of the times her and my dad spent with your parents. We are thinking of you all. Xo

I worked with Walter many years ago. He was with me for years and no matter what we needed, Walt would build it or find a way to solve an issue. He was with me when I tackled a rec-room in my home and we finished it together. We had many happy, & challenges year as friends working together with everyone else at Colortron Photo. So sorry he has gone. Please accept my sincere sympathies. Norm & Jackie Wells

It was many years ago that I saw my cousin, Walter. I believe it was at my sister’s, Meryle’s funeral back in May 2014. I remember Walter as always being a kind, warm person. I do remember playing with his Carole often as we were born only 3 days apart. Lois (Bartley) Richards
