(March 11, 1947 - March 15, 2021) It is with shattered hearts, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our rock, Walter, at the age of 74. Loving husband and best friend of Jo Anne for 50 years. Devoted Dad to Jodie, Danielle (Tim) and Angela (Vince). Proud Papa of Michelle, Brittany, Cassie, Austyn, Matthew, Peter, Joseph and Michael. He is survived by his sister Barbara (Jerry) Bartczak, his sisters-in-law Dianne Keasey and Jackie Morden and his many nieces and nephews. Proud employee of the Region of Halton. He will sadly be missed by his work family and his many friends. He was an avid, livid and disgustingly loyal fan to the Toronto Maple Leafs. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, as well as provide name and telephone number to funeral home staff. Friends and family are invited to the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton, on Thursday March 18, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Visitation will be by appointment only, please call the funeral home at 905-528-6303 to schedule a time. Private family service to take place on Friday. Please visit stpatrickshamilton.ca to live stream the service. Please follow the directions of the funeral home staff upon arrival.
