BAILEY, Roy F. and Hebert V. The front hall of the home Roy Bailey was raised in displayed a plaque which read, ""They heard the call and answered ""honouring those who fought in WW I. Both Roy and his father, Herbert Bailey, fought for Canada. Roy volunteered for service with the Canadian Irish Regiment. He was wounded in Italy and transferred to Scotland. Herbert served overseas in the Calvary in WW I and was a gunnery instructor in WW II . We are very proud of our father and grandfather for ""hearing the call and answering.""
