Anna Marie ANDERSON Obituary
ANDERSON, Anna Marie (nee Coverdale) Anna Marie Anderson (Coverdale), daughter of Dorothy and Robert Coverdale and predeceased by brother George and sister June, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019. She was born on the family farm near Kilbride in 1929 where she lived all of her life, and spent her final days in Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, surrounded by her loving family. Anna enjoyed working at the Drive-in Beauty Salon and was a popular employee at Burlington Springs Golf Course for fifty years. She was a devoted mother, unafraid to sacrifice and work hard for her children, but always up for a good dance and a hearty laugh. Her home was a hub that made her the centre of a vibrant family that included nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends, where you were always welcome for a cup of tea and something to eat. Her pride in her family was evident in the extensive gallery of photos and memories that adorned the walls. She will be missed by her children Valerie McGiverin (Gord), Monte Anderson (Debbie), Cindy Anderson, Mark Anderson (Joyce), Shelley Dowrie (Wally), and Connie Marshall (Tom), her grandchildren Kyle McGiverin, Sarah Rebidoux, Elaine Anderson, Perry, Brady, and Brett Anderson, Ashley, Melissa, and Matt Dowrie, James Marshall, Christina, and Meghan Delmoro; her seven great-grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME , 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 1 p.m. Private cremation will follow. Donations to the Carpenter Hospice or Bethel Memorial Chapel & Cemetery would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Please sign the Tribute Wall at kitchingsteepeandludwig.com
