Marie Simone PLOURDE

PLOURDE, Marie Simone (n? Essiambre) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Simone Plourde Sunday, January 13, 2019 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Albert (1985); devoted mother of the late Murielle, Annette Desrosiers (the late Herv?), Jean-Pierre (Carole Lelievre), Colette Paquette; comforting grand-maman to nine grand-children (seven spouses), and fourteen great-grand-children; loving sister to six living and seven predeceased. She will forever be remembered and loved. Simone lived a long blessed and fulfilled life. She remembered all those hearts touched while sharing her smiles, empathy and warm embraces. Simone loved the staff at Macassa Lodge. They treated her with love, compassion and respect. We will be forever grateful. February 2, 2019, visitation will be held with Simone, at 9 a.m. in the Chapel at ?glise Notre-Dame du Perp?tuel Secours Church, located at 243 Cumberland Avenue, Hamilton, ON. Mass will commence at 10 a.m. and guests are invited to join the family for lunch in the church hall. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Burlington, ON. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Macassa Lodge Hamilton or Canada Cancer Society, in memory of Simone Plourde.
