Wm. Bennett Obituary

Passed away at Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, December 6, 2020, in his 85th year. Survived by wife June (nee Harper) of 67 years, daughter Sherry Whitworth, son-in-law Brent, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Predeceased by son Daryl. Roy established Bennett's Towing in Hamilton and then sold - moved to Northern Ontario and rebuilt Kenda Wilderness Lodge and established Kenda Air Service. Thirty plus years, a true entrepreneur. Special thanks to 4C nursing staff at the Brantford General Hospital, for their loving care and compassion; sincere appreciation.

June and family. Just heard today about Roy's passing. Lots of fond memories about days at NOTO, conventions and sport shows. I will join my friend Guy Lamarche in a toast to Roy. Take good care June.

So sorry to hear of Roy's passing. A great tourist outfitter, friend and gentle giant whose bark was much bigger than his bite. I'll have a drink in his memory. Heartfelt condolences to June and family. Rest in peace old friend
