Randall CURRAN Obituary

Peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, May 20, 2021 in his 66th year we said goodbye to our dad after a seven-year battle with myeloma cancer. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Norma Curran. Loving father to Lindsay (Craig) and Lisa (Darryl). Cherished grandfather to Blake, Josie, Camden, Palmer and Spencer. Randy will be missed by his siblings Lori (Wayne) Peltz, Darryl (Alice) Curran, Alan Curran and Terry Curran. Our dad loved reading The Toronto Star, Hamilton Spectator, and Haldimand Press. He would cut out articles he thought we would enjoy reading or read us random articles over the phone he could not wait to share with us. Therefore, it is only fitting that we send him off with his very own tribute. If you were to drive or walk past our dad's house you were always met with loud music, a wave from the driveway, and possibly the smell of something cooking on the barbeque. He loved the sun and took a great deal of pride in growing canna lilies. His laugh was infectious, and he always had a sense of humour. When you step foot in his kitchen you were immediately met with a collage of photos, and handmade pictures from his grandkids. Our babies were truly his pride and joy. He loved sitting and watching his grandkids destroy his house and never made them clean up at the end of a visit. They were always told Grandpa had time later. We will miss his love of sports and always hearing the updates about his Cleveland Browns, Montreal Canadians, and St. Louis Cardinals. We are so fortunate to have been able to spend his last evening together, reminiscing, and laughing in the Hagersville Hospital. We are so proud of his strength over the past seven years. He was brave, loving, and had the best sense of humour right up until our last hugs. We love you dad, Lindsay and Lisa. Cremation has taken place. SERENITY BURIAL & CREMATION SERVICES INC. 361 Main Street, Port Dover (226) 290-9093 have been entrusted with the arrangements. For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Randy's Memory they are asked to consider West Haldimand General Hospital Foundation, 75 Parkview Road, Hagersville, Ontario N0A 1H0. Words cannot express how thankful we are to the staff at Hagersville Hospital for all the love and care they provided our family. Online condolences can be left at www.serenityburialandcremation.com

I worked for Randy at Thermadyne, we visited Australia at the same time. He was always honest and thoughtful. He was a joy to work for as he always had PLENTY to get done and gave me a full plate all the time (which I loved) I have good picture of Randy in Sidney taken in 1999 if anyone is interested like just email me with an address.
