Samuel De Vincent

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Grandview Lodge LTC on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in his 91st year. Predeceased by his loving wife Lia De Vincent. Lovingly remembered by his daughters Karen (Tim) Meade, Lorraine De Vincent, and Simone (Albert) Frederick. Grandfather of Albert and Kurt Frederick, and Matthew (Meredith) and Adam Meade. Brother of the late Ann Namaro, the late Stella (the late John) Slomka, Josephine (the late Stefan) Relic, Teresa (the late Walter) Oskroba, and the late Angelo (Ann) De Vincent, and brother-in-law of the late Virgilio (the late Anna Maria) Melosso, the late Lucilla (the late Delfino) Picco, and Valeria Melosso. Special thanks to the family, friends, and caregivers that graciously supported Sam and his family throughout these many years. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Ave., Hamilton) on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with a chapel service following at 1 p.m. Burial will follow to Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. If you wish to attend, due to COVID-19 and being able to safely social distance, RSVP is required for both visiting and the funeral separately, and masks must be worn.
