Joseph RAPOSO Obituary
Dear brother and brother-in-law to Nuno (Paula), Luis (Paula), Helena, Paul (Diane), Mario (Linda), Maria, Art, Peter (Sandy), Hugo (Jackie) and Alan and May Simpson. Predeceased by his brother Carlos and his wife Karen, his brother Frank, his sister-in-law's Linda Raposo and Kathy Simpson (Sikora) and brother in-law Jim Sikora.
Lovingly, remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He will also be sadly missed by the "Gang", his brothers from another mother, his golfing buddies, his Harvester gang and many friends.
He will be remembered for his kindness, intellect, sense of humour that never wavered in his final days and he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He made over a dozen Mexico mission trips to help build houses for those less fortunate and jumped in to help out during the pandemic delivering food and meals for the "Meal Bag Program" at Wellington Square. He was an avid golfer and sailor and loved spending time with family and friends.
A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Joseph Brant Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.

Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm and Friday, September 17, 2021 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Wellington Square United Church on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00am. An RSVP is needed to attend the visitation and service. Hi Wendy
We met many years ago when Joe and I both worked at VicWest. Gwen Hughes told me about Joe’s passing. I remember Joe as a true team player, always with a pleasant smile on his face.

Wendy, I was blessed to have worked with Joe during our Vicwest days. He was always a pleasure to work with demonstrating great knowledge with grace. With the passing of years Julia is now grown, but when Joe and I worked together (1998-2004) she was young and Joe's love for her showed in our many conversations. You and all of Joe's family are in my prayers.
