Roy MACAULAY Obituary

Peacefully with his son playing soft music, passed away at St. Joseph's Villa on September 11, 2021 at the age of 78. Dear husband of Karen for 59 years. Beloved father of Margaret (Jeff) and Will. Much loved and proud hands on grandfather to David (Naomi), Liam (Jordan), Wade (Ashley), Alex (Zoe) and Isaac (Tianna) and great-grandfather to Kheiran who he was fortunate to meet recently. Dear brother to Janis (Bill). Heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at SJV (Lilac Gardens) for the care and compassion shown to Roy over the past 4 years, especially the nurses and PSWs who looked after him on a daily basis. Cremation has taken place. Memorial at a later date.

Worked with Roy at the city. He trained me. A great guy, hard worker and funny. Missed him since he retired. Godspeed Roy.

My Sympathy goes out to the Family. I also have Great memories of Roy. He taught me many things, was Kind and Generous. He will never be forgotten and always considered An Uncle to me.. Thank You Roy.

My heart goes out to all of Roy's family. I have many fond memories of Roy dating back to the very early 1950's. He was his own man.
