John Adrian STEWART

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father on September 17th, 2021, at the age of 79. John Adrian Stewart passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. John was a loving husband to his late wife Diane Stewart, and devoted father to Tracie (Wayne, deceased), Kim (Joel), Angela, Mandy (Sean). Proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Eric, Courtney, Jacob, Joelle (Logan), Jordan, Jonah and Elijah. John was born and raised in Nova Scotia, to his late parents Joseph and Louise Stewart, and will be greatly missed by his siblings and extended families. He retired from Stelco after 34 years of service, and loved participating in the Stelco bowling and baseball leagues.
Special thanks go to the caring staff of the Village of Wentworth Heights Retirement Home. John's Celebration of Life will be held for immediate family only due to covid restrictions, at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wellwood Resource Centre of Hamilton, or the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton Halton.
