June Branson Wilcox
St. George - June Branson Wilcox, age 92, died on Wed, Sep 5, 2018 in St. George, Utah. She was born June 1, 1926 in Payson, Utah to Nellie Marie Branson and Eugene Branson, who had passed away a month earlier from pneumonia. She married Clifford Lavar Wilcox Dec 5, 1945, the day the Idaho Falls LDS temple opened. At this time her mother was also sealed to her father and children, two of who had passed away in their youth. The heavens must have rung with song on such a joyous occasion. Clifford and June have been married 72 years.
June came to this world as a token of peace and happiness after her mother lost a husband and daughter within ten months. The sparkle in her eye always held a happiness which she shared with others, especially her family. She was always steadfast in her faith, and had many callings in church, which she accomplished with grace and enthusiasm. She held many jobs. She worked hard to get her LPN and was a nurse at a nursing home in Minnesota for 10 years. She had many interests and hobbies, and could cook, sew, clean, grow a garden, and bottle fruit and vegetables, and do it well. Her greatest pride was her family. She took great measures to make sure they were provided for and successful in their endeavors. She came from an age of sacrifice, and wasn't above doing hard things to make life meaningful and good for her family and friends. June had many dogs throughout her life and enjoyed their company. Her greatest love, was held for her husband, Clifford, where their love was strengthened through the trials of time, to become forever timeless through eternity.
June is survived by her husband, Clifford, and her five children: Jon and Sue Wilcox, Faribault, MN, Jeff and Kaatje Wilcox of St. George, UT, Ann Marie and Paul Forsey of Peoria, AZ, Jay and Kim Wilcox of Anchorage, AK, and Gene and Shelley Wilcox of Tremonton, UT. She has 28 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

June was an absolute delight and I will miss her sweet smile. Thank you for allowing her to grace us with her beauty for the short time we had with her.
